Beware the "scroll of death" There are at least three alternatives to attaching individual resources to the front page of your Moodle course.

• Hyperlinking - send students to any resource (hosted online or uploaded, a location within your course)  
• Embedding - pasting HTML embed code into any text box that shows the editing tools
• Folder resource- place mutliple files in a folder and have the folder displayed on the front page
